One of my favorite dinners to make is chicken pot pie. Especially on a cool winter day, the warm veggies and chicken tucked between 2 layers of quilted bubbly crust…..amazing! After stuggling with the “allrecipe.com” instructions a few times, I now have it down to a science. The secret to being oxygen efficient, as noted in ealier posts, is pre-organization.
Pre-mesure and boil veggies (then strain), simmer white sauce till it thickens, pour over bottom crust, top with crust and bake…Voila! Although this can serve a family of four, you might want to save it all for yourself 🙂
